Where small college sports get their moment
NAIA · NCCAA · USCAA
Who we are

The level everyone else skips is the only level we cover.

The Pennant is a national sports media company covering NAIA, NCCAA, and USCAA athletics. We exist to give the 100,000+ student-athletes competing at the small college level the same professional coverage that major programs take for granted.

We are not a blog. We are not a fan account. We are a media company built on original journalism, rankings, and storytelling that treats every athlete, every game, and every program with the respect they deserve.

At this level there are no NIL bidding wars and no hundred-thousand-seat stadiums — just athletes who lift at 6 a.m., ride buses through the night, and play for national championships almost nobody watches. The gap between how seriously they compete and how little coverage they receive is the entire opportunity.

Our voice is professional with heart: write like The Athletic, feel like a hometown gym. Confident, direct, never condescending. Somebody should cover a Tuesday night in Sioux City like the stage it is. Now somebody does.
